The Tap Connect team has been developing technology for churches for over ten years. We are passionate about helping churches use technology to connect with people and make disciples. Prior to Tap Connect, our team developed Wifi Presence in 2017 to empower church wifi to help churches reach people more effectively. Tap Connect is a product of Ministry Dynamics, LLC. Derek & Jim worked together at Front Porch, a technology company, where they developed solutions for the cable internet and mobile telecom industries.

Here's What Church Leaders Want To Know About Tap Connect
1. What do I need to make Tap Connect work for my church?
One of the great things about Tap Connect is that it works with any size church. Simply place the tap tags in your worship space and you are ready to go. So, pick the appropriately sized service package for your church and buy tags for one for every 3 seats in your worship spaces (and maybe a few spares). Build a landing page so after tapping, people can get the current info they need for that service. It's easy to get started! And if you run into difficulties, we're here to help!
2. Is Tap Connect "creepy?" What is the privacy model?
We don't think so. Tap Connect requires a person to do two things to record their attendance: 1) tap their phone on a tag and 2) enter their name and contact info. This is not automatic and requires a person to take action. We think this is a great way to help people engage with your church and make it easy for them to connect with you. If you are concerned about privacy, we can work with you to ensure that Tap Connect meets your needs.
3. Do I need a Church Management or Database To Use Tap Connect?
No. Tap Connect can work with or without a Church Management system. Our reports and data output provide you with the information you need to make decisions about your church. If you do have a ChMS, we can sync the data to your system so that you can use it in your existing workflows.
4. What Church Management Software Do You Sync With?
Tap Connect currently supports Planning Center, RockRMS, Church Community Builder, Ministry Platform, and more. If you use a different ChMS, we can work with you to see if we can support it. We are always adding new platforms.
